Kid’s Kastle is licensed by the State of Connecticut Department of Health to care for six pre-school children plus three before and after school children. I have been in business since 1988. Low teacher/child ratio. Children get lots of attention!
Kid’s Kastle provides quality care for children 18 months old through five years old.
We work on pre-school readiness skills. We have a number of monthly enrichment programs for the children; for example, Storytime Lady, Tumble Jungle, Music with Mary and Spanish. Some other field trips we have taken in the past are: New Canaan Nature Center, Sherwood Island Nature Center, Norwalk Fire Department, Silverman’s Farm, etc. Parents are encouraged to participate as chaperones.
My hours of operation are 7:30am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Open year round.
Kid’s Kastle offers a broad range of activities. On any given day you can find us singing, dancing, puzzle solving, working with play dough, pretending, cooking, painting, reading or dictating stories about a picture. Outside play is a daily occurrence. We enjoy walks, fresh air and exercise in a fully fenced-in playground.
Children must bring their own lunch in an insulated lunch box with an ice pack. You can bring food to be heated up in a microwave. All items should be labeled. Lunches should be nutritious.
